Additionally I'd like to make another proposal, of course really useless - which already stumbles around in my head for a long time: What about some sort of beauty - contest for Python programs? I think beauty is a property and a quality of programs, which deserves more attention than is normally given to it. This despite of the fact, that it is largely a point of taste what one finds beautiful. Perhaps such a contest would provoke the creation of Python programs of different types of beauty. For instance: Post some programs of modest size, submitted by their authors and give the public to assign to them some stars or pearls or something ( like amazon-customers do with books). (Did you ever invent something more useless?) You may use it, transform it and transport it however, whenever and wherever you want. Kind regards, Gregor
