Python needs your shiny trinkets! Although Rob lusts after the new Python shirt mentioned on Python.org, there seems to be far too little Python branding going on. If you can come up with something cool and Pythonic we can show off here, send it on.

This area of the site could go in just about any direction. You can send in a logo image for Python or Useless Python to be posted here. And we could definitely use some images people could place on their own sites bragging that their source code is Certified Useless or similar. If any of you are members of The Eric Conspiracy, we welcome a logo for Eric Conspiracy: Useless Python Division logos. Just for the record, anyone out there can swipe any of the images used on this site, provided the images are used in good faith and not for Great Evil.

For the most part, Useless Python is now a .gif-free site (thanks to Tesla Coil). Rob still reserves the right to make and use .gif's to his heart's content, because he has already paid Unisys off for the LZW compression license. If you have no idea what this means, you can find out more at Burn All GIFs. Certain .gif's on this site were also produced by others in the world who have not provided permission to change them.

You are free to use any of the images (other than the XHTML image at the bottom of each page, the Brainbench images in the Webmaster section, and any other clearly commercial images) on this site in any reasonable manner you wish. If you wanted to be really nice, you could use Useless images to link to us. Even though there are fewer than half a dozen links to Useless Python on the web (at last count), we already receive more traffic than many commercial sites.

Send us your own attempts at graphical mediocrity. Some of the images already present are nothing more than silly, meaningless references to people who make themselves targets by helping lots of people on the Python Tutor email list. If you do not understand some of these, it is most likely to your credit. These are, after all, Useless.
